Create a donation link for your stream
Build a recognisable donation page, share your local link and check the payment journey from a viewer’s perspective.

Start with your own page
Choose a username that matches your channel. Add a recognisable profile picture and explain what you create and how support helps. Check the donation page language separately from your dashboard language. A shared account does not mean that every viewer speaks the same language.
Explain amounts and fees
Choose suggested amounts and a minimum that suit your audience. DonoLink normally charges a 3.5% platform fee per donation. Stripe separately charges actual processing fees to the creator’s connected account. Card and wallet availability depend on that account. Do not promise a local payment method or a fixed transaction charge that the checkout does not display.
Share one recognisable link
Place your local donation link in your channel description, below a YouTube livestream and in a clear chat command. Open it on your phone while signed out. Check the name, language, amount and payment methods actually offered. The currency shown at checkout governs the payment; a country domain does not automatically convert amounts.
Check the complete donation
A test alert checks the overlay display but does not prove a successful payment. For an authorised real test, check the checkout, confirmation, dashboard donation and delivery to OBS. Record the payment and any refund in your accounts. Sample donations are not evidence that your payment connection works.
