What does a contribution through DonoLink cost?
DonoLink normally charges 3.5% per contribution, with no subscription or setup fee. Stripe separately charges the creator's account the actual card or wallet processing fee.
Which payment methods can a viewer use?
Cards and digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay can be available when Stripe supports them. Bizum, Klarna and SEPA bank transfer appear only if the creator selected them and Stripe permits them for the connected account. Checkout shows the current options.
Does the contributor pay extra fees?
By default, the contributor pays only the chosen amount. They may voluntarily cover the displayed DonoLink fee; Stripe processing fees remain with the creator.
When is a contribution confirmed?
A contribution counts only after Stripe confirms the payment. A bank transfer can take longer because Stripe must first receive and match the funds.
Does a viewer need a DonoLink account?
No. A viewer can contribute without a DonoLink account. The creator needs a DonoLink account and a completed Stripe connection.
Where does the creator receive the money?
The payment is processed directly on the creator's connected Stripe account. DonoLink's fee and the actual Stripe costs are handled separately; the net amount and payout can be checked in Stripe.
Can a large channel receive a different rate?
Yes. We can agree an individual rate for consistently high contribution volume. Contact us with your expected volume; the new rate applies only after written confirmation.
How much do I receive from a contribution?
The net amount depends on the contribution, any voluntary coverage of DonoLink's fee, and the processing fees Stripe actually charges the connected account.
