Comparison 2026

A StreamElements alternative for your tips before SEPay ends

StreamElements continues under Razer, but SEPay, its built-in payment service for tips, is being phased out. According to the information published with the acquisition, SEPay balances can be withdrawn until 31 December 2026 and tip processing moves to a different route in 2027. If you want a stable donation page in Spain now, DonoLink replaces the payment part without forcing you to change your whole setup.

Switch to DonoLink before SEPay ends

  1. Withdraw your available SEPay balance in StreamElements.
  2. Create your DonoLink page and connect Stripe.
  3. Import your StreamElements tips with your JWT token.
  4. Add the DonoLink alert to OBS, test it and replace your link.

What is changing at StreamElements

Razer acquired StreamElements in July 2026. According to the announcement, the familiar free tools such as overlays, alerts and the chatbot remain available. What is going away is SEPay, the built-in payment route that processed part of the tips.

31 December 2026 is presented as the deadline for withdrawing existing SEPay balances. It is not a shutdown date for StreamElements as a whole. Always check the steps and deadlines that apply to your account in your own StreamElements dashboard.

What DonoLink replaces

DonoLink replaces the tip page and the payment, not necessarily your whole broadcasting software. Viewers open your page, choose an amount and pay without an account. Viewers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. DonoLink charges 3.5% per successful donation; Stripe separately charges its processing fees to your connected account.

DonoLink alerts are regular browser sources. They run alongside your existing StreamElements sources in OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop.

Keep your history

The StreamElements import retrieves your previous tips through the StreamElements API with your JWT token. Amount, donor name, message and original date return to your statistics and leaderboard, so you do not start from zero.

The import also tries to convert supported built-in alert widgets. Fully custom HTML, CSS or JavaScript cannot be converted reliably, so always review and test imported alerts.

Switch without risk

A smooth transition takes a few steps, without waiting for the last day:
